DeForest-Windsor Area Grassroots (DWAG)
May 15, 2017
Next meeting: Monday, May 22, 2017, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the DeForest Public Library, 203 Library Street, DeForest.
Present: Karen Edson, John Scepanski
With only two of us there, we did not have an agenda. Karen and I just talked for an hour about a variety of things.
We decided that next meeting’s agenda will be devoted mostly to the question of where do we go from here with DWAG? What is our purpose? Who is our leadership? The 5 W’s: who, what, where, when, why, and how? Do we take the summer off? Is it time to end the organization? If we end the organization, what do we do with the money in the treasury (about $800)? What projects might we want to pursue, what causes? Do we want to regroup for each election? Who is willing to “ramrod” (lead) what? What is your particular passion that you might want to lead or be in charge of or responsible for? What do you want to make a commitment to? What will you volunteer to do or be? Karen and I think the contact list or sign list is worth keeping up.
John Stanley was contacted to host the next quarterly Progressive Partners meeting in June in DeForest/Windsor. Do we want to commit to that? Can we?
Come to the next meeting to express your thoughts on these matters or send them to me, so that I can share them with whoever comes. Thanks. JohnSki
